MODERATING Post-Show Talks


As Scholar-in-Residence at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Maura leads question & answer sessions with Festival artists just after they step off stage. Maura has also led post-performance discussions for other theaters like The Joyce in New York and at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in College Park, Maryland. Artists and choreographers Maura has recently interviewed in this setting include Camille A. Brown, Kyle Abraham, Faye Driscoll, Ephrat Asherie, and more.

 
 

Pillow Talks


Maura leads many of the curated discussions with choreographers, writers, filmmakers, and cultural experts at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival as one of the Pillow's on-site Scholars. Topics range from filmmaking in dance to tap dancing in America to George Balanchine's ballets.
